Born at Home 2012
Have you had a home birth in Iowa?
We are now accepting submissions for our 2012 Born at Home Calendar, and we would love to include your photo and your story!
The deadline for photo submissions is October 14.
A committee will select the finalists and get back in touch with you for permissions. We would like to see families represented from across the state. You may submit up to five photos.
To submit your materials, simply fill out the form below.
Q: Do the pictures have to be from the birth?
A: No. Any beloved photo that includes your home born child is appropriate: family portraits, pregnancy pictures, professional and amateur snapshots, and photos of older children are all fine!
Q: Do the pictures have to be of a baby born this year?
A: No. It's important to demonstrate to people that home birth is not new in Iowa, and that families of all kinds have been using the services of Iowa midwives for decades. Photos of anyone, of any age, born at home are welcome!
